We are looking for Awesome Care Pros needed 8-Noon, or 1-5, or both. We serve the areas of Lynnwood, Edmonds, Mountlake Terrace, Mill Creek, Bothell, and Woodinville.
Benefits:
$18.50-23.50/hr. - DOE - highest rates on weekends. We will pay you more if you are able to drive to several clients/day! You'll be paid to drive between clients too. Individuals possessing current CNA or HCA certifications will be hired at our fully trained rate. If you do not have certifications, you can take Home Care Aide classes (mostly online) required by the State of WA and work 30 hours a week during training.
All applicants working 30+ hours on average, Medical (we cover 75%) and/or Dental (we cover 50%). If the applicant selects Med and Dental, then Vision and Life are also included benefits.

Responsibilities
Providing care as directed by a nursing supervisor, including but not limited to: bathing, grooming, oral care, dressing, undressing, toileting activities, taking and recording vital signs, and assisting with height and weight measurements, if necessary.
Providing care according to the patient's plan of care, assistance with daily tasks, including but not limited to: feeding, meal preparation, linen changes, light housekeeping, providing transportation to doctor appointments, outdoor activities, and shopping.
Requirements
High school diploma or GED.
Must have a valid CNA/DSP/HHA/PCA certification.
A current, valid state certification and in good standing.
Certified CPR and negative TB test or chest x-ray.
Minimum one (1) year of documented health care experience is required.
Licensed driver with insured and reliable automobile (requirements based on case assignment).
Self-directing with the ability to work with little direct supervision. Works as a team member.
Ability to read, write, speak and understand English and communicate effectively.
Treats clients, staff and the public with courtesy, respect and presents a positive public image.
Ensures confidentiality and security of the client's medical information.
Must be able to stand walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push and pull. Varied assistance is required depending on the mobility of the client. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Must have empathy for the needs of the client.

Responsibilities
Implement treatment and plan of care, using sound judgment and critical thinking
Maintain accurate, detailed, and timely documentation consistent with the plan of care and the nursing processes
Perform all skill, treatments, and procedures to the scope of practice as defined in the Nurse Practice Act in the state of clinical practice and adhere to the policies, procedures, and protocols of the agency of employment
Requirements
Current and unrestricte Caregiver Certification in Pennsylvania

What are we looking for in an Angel?

What You’ll Be Doing:
Your responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
Assist with daily living needs offering companionship care
Take clients for walks, trips to activities or social events, errands etc.
Assisting with prescribed range of motion exercises
Simple meal preparations
Light housekeeping
Help with Activities of Daily Living such as:
Personal Hygiene
Dressing
Eating
Maintaining Continence
Help with Transferring/Mobility
And if you cover night and overnight shifts:
Stay awake and alert to assist the client to go to the bathroom.
Check on the client on a regular basis.
Reposition to avoid bed sores.
If the client is an early riser, assist with getting dressed and breakfast.
